My first trip to the outback was to visit Uluru and Kata Tjuta. I was enchanted by the changing colours as night fell. I had never seen so many stars in the sky – it was quite a revelation and wonderful experience. This painting captures the shapes of Kata Tjuta at various times of the evening.
